SFBX

Cookie Policy

Below you will find information on how SFBX (“SFBX,” “we,” “our”) uses cookies and other similar technologies on its website https://sfbx.io/ and the AppConsent.io console https://app.appconsent.io/ .

General

When you visit our website or use the AppConsent.io console, we—or an authorized third party—may store a cookie or similar technologies on your device and browser that collect and process information about your online activities over time and across different websites.

This information may relate to you, your preferences, or your device, and is primarily used to ensure that the site works as you expect.

Generally, this information does not directly identify you, but it can help provide you with a more personalized web experience. You can choose your cookie settings and change your preferences at any time by clicking the “Privacy Center” link in the footer, with the exception of strictly necessary cookies (explained in more detail below).

However, blocking certain types of cookies may affect your experience on the site and the services we are able to provide.

What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files consisting of letters and numbers that contain a unique user identifier.

They are stored on a device to save data that can be retrieved by a web server within the domain that set the cookie.

Cookies can serve several purposes, such as remembering your preferences, saving the language you’ve chosen, or tracking the number of people visiting a website.

When you visit the website again at a later time, this cookie is sent back to the website. This allows the website to recognize your browser and, for example, remember your language preference.

Cookies generally also have an expiration date. For example, some cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser (known as session cookies), while others remain on your computer for a longer period of time, sometimes even until you delete them manually (known as persistent cookies).

Similar technologies, such as "tracking pixels" or local storage—which are small blocks of code on a web page or in an app—are also used.

Why do we use cookies?

We use cookies and similar technologies for several reasons. To make our website or the AppConsent.io console work, or to make them more efficient—for example, by counting the number of people who visit the website, remembering user preferences and settings, and enabling users to log in to the AppConsent.io console. To improve your experience, enhance navigation on the website and the console, and fix bugs.

We may also use cookies and similar technologies in emails to let us know when you’ve opened an email or clicked on a link within the email. For more details on how to unsubscribe from marketing emails or change your preferences, you can click the “Update your preferences” and “Unsubscribe” links at the bottom of each email you receive.

When we use cookies and similar technologies, we may collect information such as your device ID, IP address, and other information about your device, as well as behavioral data regarding your device’s use of our sites (for example, pages viewed, links clicked, and documents downloaded). Our cookies do not contain personal information, such as your name. They simply allow us to retrieve information once you are logged in or to link your browsing information to you when you choose to sign up for a service or subscribe to a newsletter.

The (limited) data we use for this purpose remains within the European Union (Belgium, the Netherlands, and France). The data is not shared with any other parties or recipients. It is encrypted, and the principle of data minimization is strictly adhered to.

Can cookie settings be customized?

Yes. Cookie settings can be customized by clicking the “Cookie Preferences” link in the cookie banner or in the website footer. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may be offered various consent options, including the ability to reject all non-essential cookies, before we place cookies on your browser. Visitors from all jurisdictions have a feature that allows them to opt out of non-essential cookies using the cookie preferences center. This preferences center allows you to manage your consent for performance, functional, and targeting cookies (explained in more detail below), with the option to accept or reject cookies at any time.

Cookie settings can also be customized for all or some cookies on users’ devices by changing their web browser settings. For more information on how to manage cookies, please refer to your web browser settings.

What types of cookies do we use?

To provide our visitors with a user-friendly experience, we use cookies that may be set by us or by our affiliates and business partners.

First-party cookies are set directly by the website you are visiting—that is, the URL displayed in the address bar.

Third-party cookies are placed on your device not by the website you are visiting, but by a third party, such as an advertiser or an analytics provider.

Below is a list of cookie categories, along with a description of how the various categories of cookies and similar technologies are used, as well as options that allow users to manage their preferences. However, it is important to note that not all cookies are necessarily used in all jurisdictions or on all websites. To view the list of cookies for a specific website, click “Cookie Details” in the preference center.

SFBX, the operator of this website and the AppConsent.io console, uses https://sfbx.io/ and on https://app.appconsent.io , three types of tracking mechanisms:

  • strictly necessary technical cookies;
  • strictly necessary functional cookies;
  • an analytical tool.

SFBX uses strictly necessary cookies to manage the content of its website and the AppConsent.io console. These cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of this website and the AppConsent.io console. You cannot refuse these cookies if you wish to visit our website and the AppConsent.io console.

SFBX also uses Google Analytics 4 for analytical purposes. This analytics tool collects certain data (see the table at https://support.google.com/analytics/topic/2919631?hl=en&ref_topic=1008008&sjid=3641544823309446460-EU ). If you give us your consent for this purpose, this data will be used to generate aggregated statistics. This allows us, in particular, to determine how many times a specific page has been viewed. We use this information solely to improve the content and performance of our website.

The (limited) data we use for this purpose remains within the European Union (Belgium, the Netherlands, and France). The data is not shared with any other parties or recipients. It is encrypted, and the principle of data minimization is strictly adhered to.

What is Ad4good?

Ad4good is the first solidarity advertising network. If you accept personalised advertising on our site, you will be helping to finance some forty associations in need.

See the full list of associations on the Ad4good website

The Ad4good network is implementing 3 actions to ensure its mission:

  • Partnership between publishers and Ad4Good: part of the publisher's inventory is reserved for the distribution of solidarity ads. These ads are monetised by Ad4good, which then donates 50% of its margin to associations.
  • Partnership between advertisers and associations: each advertisement broadcast by the advertiser during an " Ad4Good" labelled campaign campaign generates a donation for the partner association of the campaign.
  • Partnership between publishers and associations: Ad4good offers publishers the opportunity to provide visibility to partner associations by reserving unused advertising space.

To allow the associations to continue their actions, you can accept in general or set the detail by allowing Store and/or access information on a terminal and Personalised advertising.

Ad4good, partner of the CMP AppConsent® for responsible and ethical advertising

We are partners with the Ad4good network, the first solidarity-based advertising network that brings together some forty associations.

What does this mean for your audience?

By opting in to the AppConsent® Xchange Solidaire offer, your participation will be mentioned on the first screen of your consent form.
If a user refuses collection for advertising purposes, a reminder screen will be displayed so that they can change their choices if they wish to be an actor of change towards more ethical advertising.

What are the eligibility criteria?

As a pre-requisite, your website must carry advertising. Once you have registered with AppConsent® Xchange Solidaire, you must have a significant amount of responsible advertising on your website (at least 20%).

The AppConsent® Xchange Solidaire offer allows you to take part in a more responsible advertising ecosystem focused on solidarity and environmental preservation.
